There is one thing I want to point out though, is Buzzy Bees update launches on Wednesday December 11th not tomorrow. It us good to see cross-play happening for more and more games. Only use PS4 for the servers to mess around, whenever those are up…. I own a ton of stuff, guess I’ll still only primarily play on Xbox and Switch. But I know the difference and ain’t to thrilled about how they just had to change it.
Won’t effect those that only play on one system. And for those of us that actually cross play across all consoles, it is kinda crappy. Because PlayStation just had to have it their way. No wonder it took Microsoft so long to get it on here. Since they are not letting me have the true Minecraft store that allows me access to all of my content! Because honestly, why should I have to buy it again? When it crosses over between Xbox and Switch? But not PlayStation? They just have to be greedy.
I was looking forward to playing on my main console. They just couldn’t let it be the true crossplay that I enjoy on Xbox and Switch. Instead you have to re purchase them?! That is ridiculous on Sony’s part. Currency is not the same! And “all” of your items can not be downloaded. But it is not like Xbox or Switch! PlayStation just has to have “their” currency! On Xbox and Switch the currency you buy carries over! I can buy whatever I want and play it on both systems! I was so excited to see this come to PlayStation, till I seen how PlayStation had to do it. *Cross-Play requires other platforms of Minecraft to be running update 1.14, including PS4 systems. We call this update ‘Buzzy Bees’ (or 1.14) and it’ll be arriving on PS4 tomorrow at 8am PST. This update will never expire, and all game purchases after today for PS4 will always be for this new version.
